American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training with Child/Infant CPR and First Aid W24
with Sophia Turgeon
American Red Cross Babysitter's Training provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants.
The class uses videos, discussions, demonstrations, activities, and skill training to teach students ages 11-15 how to care for children when their parents are not at home, how to keep themselves and the children safe, and how to be prepared for an emergency using this American Red Cross program.
Students will learn to provide basic care to children and infants and will complete Child/Infant CPR and First Aid. We need all of the time allotted to teach all that is required. Please help your child by ensuring they arrive on time with lunch, a snack, and something to drink and are prepared to stay for the whole class.
This class is being held in two sessions; 9:00 am-3:30 pm. Participants are asked to bring a lunch/snacks/drinks. No one will be leaving the premises or receiving DoorDash deliveries so as not to interrupt the flow of learning. Thank you for understanding.
IT IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND BOTH DATES TO EARN THE CERTIFICATION!
Taught by Sophia Turgeon, elementary school teacher and American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED and Babysitter’s Training Instructor.
