For high school students who need to earn credits toward graduation, this class time can be used to take required classes in Edmentum with in-person support. It is also “Office Hours” for students choosing to do their Credit Recovery classes remotely.
Personal Finance Lab - Online W24

This is a High School Diploma class that teaches students how to budget their money and save for the future. After learning how to budget, students will learn the basics of investing, how the stock market works, and how to save for retirement.
WorkReady Computer Lab W24

WorkReady is a 60-hour, stand-alone curriculum that develops seven standards associated with soft skills and work readiness.
This is a 60-hour WorkReady curriculum offered in person and supported online via Brightspace. Students will identify and work towards specific Workforce Pathway components, identified as part of Goal Setting and planning will be added to the curriculum requirements for the Trainee.
Classroom Training includes scheduling the different Workforce Partners;
-At least two Mock Interviews
-A variety of guest-led workshops
-Multiple industry facility tours and/or 'Lunch n Learn' opportunities

NorthStar Digital Literacy Tue In-Person/Thu Open Lab W24

Northstar Digital Literacy defines basic skills needed to perform tasks on computers and online. Online, self-guided modules assess the ability of individuals to perform tasks based on these skills.
Included are basic computer digital literacy standards and modules in three main areas:
Essential Computer Skills - Basic Computer Skills, Internet Basics, Using Email, Windows OS, Mac OS
Essential Software Skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs
Using Technology in Daily Life - Social Media, Information Literacy, Career Search Skills, Accessing Telehealth Appointments, Supporting K-12 Distance Learning, Your Digital Footprint

Art 1-Foundations of Art W24

Foundations of Art is designed to meet the fine arts requirement for AACE high school diploma students. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the elements of art and the principles of design as well as art history and criticism. Students will explore basic art media and techniques, such as drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, and sculpture! Students will attend class once per week as well as complete a weekly project outside of class.
This class is a prerequisite for Art 2.
