People often feel shortness of breath, lightheaded, and fatigued at higher altitudes because their bodies work harder while taking in less oxygen. Anxiety increases, and your enjoyment decreases. You’ll have more energy, feel better, and enjoy your trip when you condition your body first to increase oxygenation and endurance. Do the same preparation that elite athletes do with this 4-week, self-paced course at home, even if you live at sea level.

Martial Arts for Women March W24

Come join Martial Arts for Women! This class is open to women of all ages and abilities who have always wanted to try karate but have been too intimidated to do so. This female-only session will introduce martial arts in a way, where initially, women will learn the basics of karate through blocks, punches, and kicks and then progress to working with a partner. Class will end with a self-defense technique, applicable to how women should respond if encountered in real life.

This class will allow women to try something different in a fun way, and gain a new sense of confidence in the process. No experience is necessary. Ages 15- up welcome.
