High Altitude Vacationing (Online) W24
with Carole Freeman
Don’t spoil your trip to a higher altitude - condition your body first. People often feel shortness of breath, lightheaded, and fatigued at higher altitudes because their bodies work harder while taking in less oxygen. Anxiety increases, and your enjoyment decreases. You’ll have more energy, feel better, and enjoy your trip when you condition your body first to increase oxygenation and endurance. Do the same preparation that elite athletes do with this 4-week, self-paced course at home, even if you live at sea level.
Your class link and code will be sent with your registration receipt.

Introduction to Qigong W24
with Shalimar Chasse
An ancient wellness practice, with foundational moves associated with the martial arts, that builds energy, balances, and unifies body, mind, and spirit.
This workshop is ideal for those who live with chronic illnesses, are recovering from a health event, and have limited mobility. Some standing is ideal, however seated modifications are possible. The closest practice to qigong is Thai Chi. The difference is that qigong offers a series of exercises that can be more easily remembered. Thai Chi is often centered around multi-step forms that take time to memorize.
Community-accessible video links to follow for continued home practice.
